Eliana with the bananas and nasturtiums
Eliana with the bananas and nasturtiums

We've had a small garden at school for a while and now we are planning to take better care of it. We grow loquats, bananas, nasturtiums, cherries really easily. We want to plant a few more things and Mr. Omari will help us learn what is best this time of year. The reasons a school garden is so good for the environment are because we don't need plastic packaging for our snacks, it's local (so the food isn't shipped from far away) and, my favourite, it's always fresh!
