Post related to Rubbish sculpture, Fresher Water

As part of our Water Explorer project we had to make a rubbish sculpture out of recycled materials. We used plastic bags, chicken wire, a basket, an old foam tube from a radiator, an old metal hanger and some used plastic bags for the body we attached the chicken wire and the basket and then stuffed it with plastic. For the neck we connected the foam tube and spray painted it white. Next we attached the head and bent it into a head shape. After that we cut the plastic bags into strips and then we knotted them through the chicken wire. We weaved the strips through the chicken wire for the head. Finally we added a beak and eyes made out of bottle tops. The named our swan Susie. We had great fun making our Rubbish sculpture.
