On the 23rd of June, Laddsworth Primary School held their Water Festival for 2017. This event was a great opportunity for pupils to share all their water work to the school. Selected Grade Four to Seven pupils presented their water activities to 550 pupils including teachers and parents. The activities included learning about secret water, pulses, indigenous plants, wetlands, pumps, water cycles, saving water tips and recycling games. The Grade Sevens presented exciting science experiments that involved water. The hall was filled with excitement as the pupils participated in the activities. It was a very successful afternoon and hopefully inspired the pupils to continue to be ‘Water Wise’ for many years to come.
