Post related to Make your own Challenge ,

This is a challenge from the year before, and is all about water use in various parts of the world. The Grade 7 learners did this challenge as part of their media lesson.
They seemed to find it interesting, and found it a challenge to try and work out how much water was used for tasks like washing feet and cooking supper for a certain amount of people.
We discussed which countries were similar to ours, and which were very different. We also looked at which countries would value water more, and be more concerned about how much they used. We thought of ways that each country could save water in their daily routine.
The classes filled in the pledge forms after thinking how they could save water in their own daily routines.
