Our Arbour Week Tree

We chose not to plant the tree of the year, because it is too large for our indigenous garden. Instead, we selected a Natal Laburnum, or Calpurnea aurea. It has light, delicate foliage and a graceful habit, and lovely canary yellow sweet pea flowers.

We also had a mammoth weeding of the wild garden
