Making water wells
Posted by CEIP Amelia Vega Monzón, Spain on 3 March 2017
Post related to Pump it up!, Global Water

Even small villages often provide a network of supply pipes that transport water to each home in the neighborhood. Many years ago, our great grandparents went to take water very far away, or they had their own well near home. In many areas of some countries, finding potable water is as easy as getting out a shovel and digging a hole in the ground. We watched a video about water in Ghana where they had to go far away to extract water or they had to make their own well pump in order to clean it.

Our students have made water wells but those that our great grand parents use a long time ago.
