United Kingdom
Team of the Month
Congratulations to Headley Park for being awarded National School of the Month for the UK. They have been brilliantly focused and completed a large amount of challenges in a short space of time. They have got the whole school involved in creating tie dye shirts and a potato growing contest. Keep up the amazing work!

Beaconhurst School are the UK School of the Month for November!
Posted on 6 December 2016

Congratulations to Beaconhurst School in Scotland, for being the UK's November Water Explorer Team of the Month! The Beaconhurst Water Warriors have got their year off to a great start! After deciding as a group to focus on Sustainable Development Goal number 6 ‘Clean Water and Sanitation’, the team signed up to be Water Explorers, and used some of the Water Explorer challenges to get lots of great ideas for their school's annual Eco week. During the week they shared some of the knowledge they've gained about watery issues with the rest of their school in an assembly. They also organised lots of activities for everyone in the school to participate in, like writing personal water pledges, and thinking of ways to reduce paper use in the school.

The Water Warriors are working to complete several more challenges including ‘Thirsty Paper’, ‘Thirsty Farming’ and ‘Fashionable water’, and are going to test their local river, the Allan Water, for signs of pollution. We can't wait to hear all about it!

Congratulations Beaconhurst Water Warriors - keep up the waterful work!
